After attending the perimeter, V International Exhibition of Theatre Ciudad de la Costa, in Solimar, Canelones in substitution of the Uruguay Escenacero Theatre Company for reasons of force majeure could not attend with her play "The Postman Neruda "Macondo the Mille Theatre presented" smokeless chimneys "in the closing ceremony on Sunday 24 of power, representing Maldonado (Next to the Teatro La Mancha CC), with a total of nineteen shows in forty-two functions from France, Ecuador, Bolivia, Argentina and Uruguay.
"smokeless chimneys" is the story of three women in a former factory "Abandoned." An older woman adapts to endure whatever it takes to stay there, a freshman women, which puts into question everything you see, and an immigrant, willing to do anything to follow.
"smokeless chimneys" of the dramatist Argentinian Santiago Serrano, was selected in 2002 for the cycle for the Sovereignty Theatre at the Teatro Cervantes in Argentina.
The cast, directed by Sofia Campal, is composed of Rosario Guerrero, Sabrina de los Santos and Sandra Techera, actresses Maldonado graduated from the School of Performing Arts. Serrano
addresses through his work, the theme of oppression and alienation suffered by a group of women who all time feel watched, monitored and controlled in the workshops of a factory where they work folding fabric. Movement
automated, alienated, and forced to lose contact with the real world. Machines and mechanized humans form a universe bounded by four huge walls, walls that enclose the work in the factories.
